Farmer Empowerment

Supporting sustainable agriculture for small and marginal farmers. Promoting organic practices and market access.

Women Empowerment

Uplifting women through training, health awareness, and SHGs. Helping them become confident, self-reliant change-makers

Child Education

Ensuring every child has access to quality education and school essentials. Bridging education gaps with school supplies and support.

Water & Sanitation

Since 2003, Parivartan has supported rural water and sanitation in Pauri Garhwal through Swajal and Har Ghar Jal, led by Himanshu Juyal with expertise in survey and engineering.

Nature Conservation

Conserving forests, planting trees, and spreading green habits. Encouraging eco-awareness in every age group.

Skill Development & Livelihoods

Hands-on training in dairy management and machinery use empowers rural women. Vocational training for youth and women for income generation.

Solar Power for Green Hills

We raise awareness on setting up solar power stations to harness clean energy and create jobs for hill youth, with government subsidies supporting the initiative.

Supporting Girls' Education

This year, the Parivartan Scholarship Program extended its reach to the districts of Rudraprayag, Chamoli, and Tehri, providing support to deserving and underprivileged girl students.

Women-Led Rural Homestay

Parivartan’s Homestay, run with Jalandhara Swayam Sahayata Samuh, empowers rural women through hosting guests, serving Garhwali cuisine, and offering cultural tours—promoting income and self-reliance.

Medicinal Herbs Workshop

Parivartan hosted an engaging workshop on medicinal herbs and home remedies with Professor Moacir Biondo, Professor Paula Martins, and our team. Children also participated by drawing various herbs, blending art with nature-based learning.

Culture, Nature, and Connection

An enriching interaction unfolded in the mystical Amazon rainforest along the Negro River, featuring jungle walks and cultural celebrations with indigenous tribes—Baré and Tatuyo—offering a deep dive into their traditions and connection with nature.

Self-Cooking Homestay

Guests at PGSSS Homestay can enjoy the comfort of self-cooking with fully equipped kitchen facilities, offering flexibility and a home-like stay in a peaceful rural setting.

PARIVARTAN SCHOLARSHIP

Parivartan had started a Scholarship Programme for Post Senior Secondary education for specially girls of the hills of Garhwal and needy and poor students in 2020. This is the second year of the programme. Actually in rural areas still girls are given second importance in the rural society and most poor parents pull them back from the education stream and prefer to marry them. We tried to give them a little help to continue their further education and make them capable of thinking for themselves. The limit for each student is 20000 rupees or actual annual fees so we supported 23 students last year and this year we are supporting 24 students from the targeted fund.

We also request other people to support this programme or this like programme of the organisation. We have been providing free quality education to the rural kids of poor and marginalised people of this hill society in Parivartan School so need help from Savita like people of the country and abroad.
