đź’› Uplifting Futures: How Small Acts of Kindness Are Changing Lives at Parivartan
At Parivartan Public School, every child carries a dream. But in the remote hill regions of Uttarakhand, where access to even basic facilities is a daily challenge, many dreams risk fading away in the face of poverty and loss. Yet, time and again, the kindness of ordinary individuals lights the way. Here are two powerful stories of compassion and hope that remind us of the change we can bring by supporting even one child.
Sneha Bhatt – A Ray of Hope in Grade 1
Sneha Bhatt, a bright and cheerful student of Class 1, comes from a humble background in one of the far-flung villages served by Parivartan. Her parents, like many in this area, struggle to meet even the basic needs. Quality education, which is taken for granted in urban spaces, remains a distant dream for most children here.
But Sneha’s story took a beautiful turn thanks to the generosity of Mr. Ramesh Chamola, an employee at State Bank of India in Ludhiana. Touched by Parivartan’s mission, he stepped forward to sponsor Sneha’s school fees for six months. This simple yet powerful act ensured that Sneha could continue her studies with dignity, hope, and excitement.
At Parivartan, we believe every child deserves a chance —and Sneha’s story is proof of how just one helping hand can shape a child’s future.
Ojas & Tejas – Finding Strength After Tragedy
Ojas and Tejas, two brothers studying at Parivartan Public School, have recently faced one of life’s harshest realities. On November 1st, their father, Kamal Dabral, tragically lost his life in a road accident. The sudden loss devastated the family. Their mother, a grieving widow with no education and no source of income, is now left to raise her children alone.
Parivartan School has stepped in to support their education, ensuring that the boys continue to study and find stability despite the storm they are weathering. But the need goes beyond tuition. These children require emotional support, daily essentials, and the comfort of knowing they’re not alone.
This is where your support becomes invaluable. These two young boys represent thousands like them who carry silent stories of struggle—but also great potential.
The villages we serve are rich in culture but poor in resources. Education is the only bridge between hardship and hope. At Parivartan, we invite compassionate individuals to come forward—to sponsor a child, provide learning materials, or simply spread the word.
Your small contribution could be the reason a child like Sneha stays in school, or why brothers like Ojas and Tejas don’t have to give up on their dreams.
“You may not be able to help everyone, but you can help someone. And to that someone, it means everything.”
